General

Where can I go to edit my account?
First make sure you are logged in. Now take a glance over to the right side of the page and check out my account.

Yep, I forgot again... can you send me my username and password?
No worries, just click here, fill in the details and wait for us to send further instructions to your e-mail.

I’m feelin’ it; you’ve got a great concept! How do I spread the word?
Facebook, Twitter, DIgg, MySpace, AIM, Email, Text and more just a click away… spread the word easily using the share this link right over there in the upper right hand corner below the toolbar.

Where do I find all of those messages I sent via WA?
Once you have logged in, hit up the private message centre, this is used for communicating with other members and operators. To access this area click on the my messages link on the right side of the page.

What is an adventure activity?
We define an adventure activity as an activity that includes three of the following: physical activity, a high amount of thrill and excitement, a high level of perceived risk and danger, and an active engagement with the outdoor environment. Usually adventure activities take place in some far flung locale to increase the sense of mystery.

Booking

I need my adrenaline fix, how do I book an activity, is the booking secure?
There are numerous routes you can take to find a bookable activity, the quickest is via the Locations tab on the toolbar. Choose your location, find an operator and then click on the Request a Booking button. Once you have filled out and submitted the form WA will process your request and follow up with an email. We then provide you with a link to make a safe and secure booking, your security and satisfaction are always guaranteed.

Do I have to be a member to book an activity?
Nope. However, why not sign up for an account; not only is it free, but it also allows you to contact operators directly and allows you to manage your past and present bookings.

What is the deal with the deposit, I don’t need to pay for the entire activity upfront?
In most cases, but not all, there is no need to pay the entire activity cost ahead of time. Because of this we only require a deposit to guarantee your spot with the operator. After paying your deposit please print out your World Adrenaline Booking Voucher, you will need to give this to the operator when you arrive on-site. When the operator collects the voucher you will be required to pay the outstanding balance before you begin your activity.

Why do some activities only require a small deposit upfront while others require full payment?
Not all operators work the same. Most operators only require a deposit to hold the activity, while others for one reason or another require the full payment upfront. For instance, most hot air balloon operators require the payment up front because it takes them a lot of time to set up the equipment and a no-show could cause the entire group to not go up. Whereas, a lot of scuba dive operators have boats going out every day at scheduled times, so if they get a no-show it won't affect the rest of the group.

I made a booking, but I haven’t received a booking voucher, is this a problem?
If you have purchased an activity at World Adrenaline please allow up to 24hrs for your voucher. If it has been more than 24hrs, your confirmation email may have been tagged by one of your email filters. If this is the case, we recommend that you contact us with your name and info about your booking request.

We define an adventure activity operator as the end supplier of an activity who owns their own equipment and employs their own guides. They are also normally a registered company with the local government and have a storefront, although this is not a requirement.

Which activities can I list on this system?
The activities an operator provides must occur on a reoccurring basis and must be in our list of accepted activities. Each activity must occur at a fixed time and have a fixed price. An operator must be the end supplier of this activity and not reselling another company's activity or equipment.

What types of activities do you accept?
